Polymer Granulates (PE, PP, PVC, PS, ABS, PA)
The core material handled at SMIALA. Polymer granulates are the feedstock for European plastics manufacturing — pipes, films, packaging, technical parts.

Supplier origins handled: Korea (LG Chem, Lotte Chemical), China, Saudi Arabia (SABIC), Middle East (Borouge, EQUATE), Germany (BASF, Lyondell, Borealis).
All polymer transfers are gravity-fed. No pneumatic conveying — no fractionation, no electrostatic charging. Cleaning protocols between different polymers available on request.

Mineral Bulk Materials (Gypsum, Lime, Fly Ash, Calcium Carbonate)
SMIALA handles mineral bulk materials for the construction and chemical sectors:
- Gypsum / anhydrite — moisture sensitive, enclosed storage mandatory
- Hydrated lime — alkaline, requires resistant gaskets (EPDM)
- Fly ash (PFA) — fine fraction, dust extraction mandatory
- Calcium carbonate (CaCO₃) — filler for polymers and paints
These materials require equipment separated from polymer lines. We maintain dedicated equipment sets for mineral bulk.

Dry Industrial Chemicals
Selected dry inorganic chemicals in granulate or powder form:
- Sodium sulphate, sodium carbonate — detergent / glass industry
- Titanium dioxide (TiO₂) — pigment, fine powder
- Silica sand, quartz powder — glass, foundry
- Carbon black — reinforcing filler for polymers
For chemical materials, we verify compatibility with existing equipment gaskets and linings before accepting. Contact us with a safety data sheet (SDS) for preliminary assessment.
