Requesting a quote from SMIALA takes five minutes of preparation and one phone call or email. The process is straightforward: describe your product, volume, and target markets — SMIALA responds with a concrete cooperation proposal within 1–3 business days. There is no mandatory minimum volume for a first inquiry. SMIALA handles both one-off test shipments and long-term framework contracts for importers from Korea, China, and other origins.
Step 1 — Gather the information SMIALA needs
Before contacting SMIALA, prepare the following information. The more detail you provide, the more precise the initial proposal:
Essential:
- Product type (e.g. HDPE film grade, PP homopolymer injection grade, LLDPE)
- Packaging type: big-bag (500–1,250 kg) / octabin / 25 kg bags / other
- Monthly volume (tonnes) or number of containers per month
- Origin port(s) (e.g. Busan, Shanghai, Ningbo, Tianjin)
- Destination country/region (e.g. Germany, Austria, Czech Republic, Poland)
Helpful (improves proposal precision):
- Specific destination locations or converter plants
- Required delivery frequency (weekly, bi-weekly, on-call)
- Whether you need warehousing or immediate transloading-on-arrival
- Any special documentation requirements (e.g. LG Chem batch reference in protocol)
- Whether transport (silo trailer delivery) or just terminal service is required
Step 2 — Contact SMIALA
By phone (fastest response): +48 664 135 005 Available Mon–Fri 06:00–20:00, Sat 07:00–15:00 (CET/CEST)
By email: biuro@magnumchorula.pl Include the information from Step 1 in your first email to avoid back-and-forth.
Online inquiry form: /en/kontakt/ — use the contact form with a brief description of your needs
Language: SMIALA handles inquiries in Polish, English, German. For Korean or Chinese-language inquiries, initial contact in English works best for response speed.
Step 3 — Initial consultation
Within one business day, SMIALA will:
- Confirm receipt of your inquiry
- Ask any clarifying questions needed for a complete proposal
- Confirm whether a site visit is recommended for your specific situation
For straightforward requests (standard big-bag transloading of PE/PP granulate to Germany or Austria), a full proposal may be issued directly at this stage.
Step 4 — Cooperation proposal
A SMIALA cooperation proposal covers:
| Element | What it includes |
|---|---|
| Service scope | Exact operations: reception, warehousing, transloading, dispatch |
| Pricing structure | Per-tonne or per-container pricing (not published online) |
| Documentation | What documents are issued per load and in what format |
| SLA parameters | Dispatch windows, maximum dwell time, turnaround commitments |
| Quality documentation | ISO 9001:2015 certificate copy; transloading protocol template |
| Cooperation terms | Framework agreement draft if requested |
All pricing is exclusive of VAT. Prices are not published online — contact us for a quote based on your specific volumes and requirements.
Step 5 — Test shipment (optional)
Many new clients choose to start with a single test container before committing to a framework agreement. SMIALA accommodates test shipments:
- Full-service handling under standard operating procedures
- Complete documentation package issued
- Opportunity for client’s quality representative to observe the operation
- Debrief call after the test shipment to discuss any observations
After a successful test, the framework agreement is signed and ongoing cooperation begins.
Step 6 — Ongoing cooperation
Once a framework agreement is in place:
- Containers are announced by email or phone as the vessel ETA is known
- SMIALA schedules warehouse slots and trailer availability
- Transloading and dispatch occur according to agreed service parameters
- Documentation is issued and transmitted per agreed format
- Monthly invoicing with agreed payment terms
For high-frequency import flows, SMIALA can integrate with client ERP systems for automated documentation and status updates — discuss this during the cooperation setup phase.
What SMIALA does not publish online
In line with industry practice and client confidentiality:
- Prices are not listed online — all quotes are individual
- Client list details — confirmed reference clients (LG Chem, Borealis, Synthos, Orlen) are mentioned; volume details and contract terms are confidential
This is standard practice in B2B logistics — there is no hidden complexity, just pricing that depends on your specific situation.
